Award-winning charity project that consisted of 100 hand-made and hand-painted chairs created by Boris Matešić and then brought to life through stop-motion short movie directed by Marin Balaić and Vedran Marjanović. The chairs were moved through the city streets with the help of 100 volunteers, symbolically representing the children in need who are bound to the chairs for life. We also created a documentary 'making of' movie and a book to accompany the project launch. Entire profit from the book sales were donated to the Novi Dan Association in order to help them fund the construction of their day care centre for children with disabilities. The project received multiple awards: Vidi Magazine Web Top 100 Awards for the best website in 2009 | Golden Bell at the festival of Marketing Communications FESTO in 2009 | Best Practice Award from Volunteer Center in 2008. The Chairs were invited to paticipate in Rovinj's successful Photodays exhibition in 2009. An invitation to attend Trastevere in Arte in Vicenza, Italy as special guests was a great opportunity to present the project to Italian audience where it received an overwhelmingly positive reaction.
The short was filmed in numerous locations across Osijek, in about a month long period.
